Veggie Lasagna

So the cooking continues and my next project was a veggie lasagna. If you're up to speed with my health issues, I had a recent scare which prompted me to lessen my meat intake and be more physically active. And that's why I tried my hand with a veggie lasagna.

To Do List

Just so I won't forget, here is my must-do list for the week:

1. Cook lasagna- have to stop eating canteen food and should start bringing baon to work.
2. Contact someone to switch the two aircons- with the aircon we used in Sta. Rosa, our electricity bill never reached Php3,000 even if we used the AC every night. But now, with the other aircon, we're at Php4,500 per month! Naman. Of course, we also have a water heater, oven, and gas range now, so that probably accounted for the spike too. But I have a feeling that it's this AC that's doing all the damage.
3. Research composting and see if it's doable in our laundry cage.
4. Buy an indoor plant- considering that the wind barely makes its presence felt in our condo unit, the level of indoor pollution must be all sorts of nuts, that's why we need a natural purifying system.

 And that's that. Can't believe the weekend's over. Sadness :(

New Dresser

Finally, I have a dresser.

We had it custom made at this woodshop near our condo, and we designed the bottom drawer to be bigger than the first three because it will take the place of the hamper for our dirty clothes.

3. Buy new house

Basic house specs:

1. With 2 car garage (for G)
2. Light and airy inside (for me)
3. 100-120 sqm lot size

Alright, the plan is in place! Let's make this happen G.

True Story

Last Sunday, Jack-Jack was trying to lift and run (toddle?) off with tatay's laptop, so I quickly handed the laptop to Drago while trying to fend off the baby:

Me: Kunin mo 'to, I will distract him (hands over laptop to Drago, faces Jack-Jack then waves a fan in his face). Distraction!!!!
Jack: (thought bubble) Whatthe? Where did it go.... Oooohhh....nice fan....gimme!

Kids are so fun. It's such a shame that they have to grow up.

Here comes the rain!

It's the first time in months or probably only the second time since we moved here, that we're sleeping without AC.

Here's hoping that this continues because I would love for our electricity bill to go down.
