We're spending the night in BF because something happened in Fountainbreeze and now more than half of the units are without electricity. Guess which group we belong to?

Thank you God for all of these opportunities. Rest assured that I will pounce on them most eagerly.
On another happy note, happy birthday Ate Julia! Tita Jill loves you very much.

Can't wait to see you later!

The wall decal is officially up. Here's a post I made on KE chronicling the whole process: http://kikay.exchange.ph/2011/06/15/wall-decal-101
Next up, scrape some bills together to buy baskets for the shelves.

I really ought to break free out of my credit card dependency. I look at all my credit card debts and I know that it's something I can wipe out in 2-3 months without pawning anything. So when it gets down to it, I'm not really overrun with debt, but I know I could do so much better, that I can minimize our expenses and put more towards my emergency fund (which is a sad Php6,000 as of today).
So here's the game plan: First, leave credit cards at home and only bring the one with the biggest balance for emergency purposes (groceries, gas and shopping for house stuff don't count as emergencies). Second, continue paying more than the minimum to wipe out balances in 2-3 months (3 months for the card with the biggest balance). Third, pay in cash for all transactions. Fourth, minimize impulse shopping. Fifth, eating out is now limited to only 2x per week, with a budget of Php400-Php500 every time. Sixth, I'm imposing a moratorium on purchasing house stuff, and shopping in general.
Short term goals (3-6 months)
1. Wipe out credit card debts
2. Bank 1-2 months salary in emergency fund
Mid-term goals (2-3 years)
1. Reduce Pag-ibig loan by at least 50%
2. Start scouting for a new house, with a garage for G
Long-term goals (5-10 years)
1. Be self-employed.
