This blog has been seriously neglected primarily because life has been pretty good these days thus removing the need to whine and bitch:p

I like my job, it fulfills my nerdy, OC self and I'm doing what I like most about the practice of law, research and meddling in other people's lives. The commute is starting to get to me though, but thank goodness I can just sleep it off in the bus or watch some uber-dramatic Korean telenovela to while away the time.

KE is doing well even if I now only blog 3-4x per week instead of my usual daily posts. Although admittedly I would be able to clock in more sleeping time without it, I know that my level of happiness will significantly drop without KE. I also don't allow myself to get rushed by anybody when it comes to posts, if I get "inquiries" or reminders about upcoming posts, I promptly move the scheduling of said post 1-3 weeks back. Catty I know:p

Case in point:

Clueless in house rep: Hi Miss Jill! Have you posted about our product?
Me: No I haven't yet (checks schedule of posts, sees that that post is next in line), I'll have it up in 2 weeks time (hides evil smile).

I notice though that it's only the in-house reps or backyard enterpreneurs who do that, while the pros do no such thing. So kids, learn from the big boys.

Another thing, I hate it when they ask if the post is up because (a) they can easily check on the site to see if it's up and (b) we both know that it's just a roundabout way of asking when the post will be up.

Oooohhh...a rant! I guess I still have it in me:p

Isa pa, the poster child of incompetence (which rhymes with manang) struck again last night. At around 7:45pm, someone sent me an SMS about a launch happening that night at 9pm at a hotel. First of, you don't send an invitation on the same night, an hour and a quarter before the event starts. Second, where the hell is XYZ hotel? The invitation merely said "launch at XYZ hotel" and the venue isn't really like The Manila Hotel which is more or less known by everyone (or maybe it's one of those things where "you don't know it because you're not with the in crowd kind of thing;P). I wonder if "Manang's" principal knows how they're mismanaging this account (again!).

Alright rant's over. Moving on.

On the homefront, our little house has become home and Sta. Rosa is the place to be for me. In spite of this, we're still moving to Sucat by early next year to plot our next move (and have an easier commute for me). I'm thinking that once I finish paying off the car, we'll have extra funds every month and so we can just add to it and buy a house in Sta. Rosa. My thinking cap is still on, but G and I are already having serious talks about it.

So that's that, life isn't nauseatingly perfect, but our laughter far outweighs our petty fights. I have fun with my officemates. I look forward to the next episode of "Temptation of Wife" shown on the bus. I'll be lodging my NZ tourist visa application (together with my parents') next week. I'd have paid off all my credit card debts by the end of this year and everyone in my family is healthy and happy. Yup, life is good :)
