Thanks to everyone who sent in birthday greetings!
I officially turned 30 today abd it's actually not as painful as some people insinuate because: (1) I don't believe that I have lost my "asim" just because I'm getting older and (2) I don't believe that my body clock is ticking, or even if it is, there's always technology to turn to when it's time to churn out those bambinos and bambinas.
Anyway, small-minded people aside, I've started "training" for next month's Southern race :)
I'm in Day 2 of the Couch to 5k guide.
Or so I thought.
The first 3 days call for 5 minutes of brisk walking as warm-up, then 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking to be repeated for 20 minutes to build up endurance.
However, I've been doing 60 seconds of jogging and 3 minutes of walking! Eeeep. No wonder I was like: "This is it?!"
Yeah, I suck in math.
So looks like I'll have to restart the entire program, it's a good thing I'm only 2 days in:p
